Grievance Redressal — How to File a Complaint

For any complaints, please write to us at the email addresses below:

After sending your complaint to the above email ID, you will receive a ticket number via email. Our customer support team will respond within 24 to 48 hours of the ticket being raised, through email and/or call, to work towards resolution.

Escalation — Stock Exchange & Depository

In the absence of a response, or if your complaint is not addressed to your satisfaction, you may escalate to the respective Stock Exchange or Depository:

If still not satisfied, you can lodge a complaint with SEBI at scores.sebi.gov.in or at the SMART ODR Portal at smartodr.in/login.
Section 05

Procedure to File a Complaint on SEBI SCORES

Register on the SCORES portal to file your complaint directly with SEBI.

  • Mandatory details for filing complaints on SCORES: Name, PAN, Address, Mobile Number and Email ID.
  • Benefit: Effective communication between you, the intermediary and SEBI.
  • Benefit: Speedy redressal of grievances through a centralised, monitored system.

Grievance Redressal Mechanism

Approach the Stock Broker
  • Filing a complaint through email.
  • Filing a complaint through the Nikunj Stock Brokers Limited (NSBL) website.
  • Filing a written complaint in hard copy.

Approach the Stock Exchange / Depository
Complaint filed by the customer.
Complaint forwarded to the Stock Broker / DP by the Stock Exchange or Depository.
Response by the Stock Broker / DP is shared with the client.
Amicable resolution of the complaint.
If the client is not satisfied, the matter is placed before the IGRC of the Stock Exchange/Depository, and IGRC issues its order on merit.
If the IGRC order is accepted by the client, the complaint stands resolved.
If the client is not satisfied with the IGRC order, the client is advised to file for Arbitration.
After Arbitration Committee meetings, the Arbitration Award is passed and communicated to both parties.
If satisfied, the complaint stands resolved. If not, the client may appeal to Appellate Arbitration.
Appellate Arbitration Award is passed. If the client is satisfied, the complaint stands resolved.
If the client is still not satisfied with the Appellate Arbitration Award, the client may pursue the matter before an appropriate court.

Approach SEBI Directly
At any stage during Stage 2 — after point 4 but before point 11 — the client can file a complaint to SEBI on the SCORES portal or at the SMART ODR Portal.
